The "African International Financial Management Talent Program" targets students from Africa, focusing on the growing FinTech sector. We aim to improve the quality of financial professionals in Africa by recruiting top graduates to pursue graduate degrees in Taiwan.
The program strategy includes the following key points:
1. Partnership and Collaboration:
CTBC Business School, the University of Cape Town, and the University of the Western Cape are forming a partnership to develop detailed training plans and student selection criteria. Through regular exchange meetings, seminars, mutual visits, and academic collaborations, we will strengthen cooperation between both academic and administrative departments, ensuring the successful implementation of the program.
2. Mentorship System:
A professional mentorship system will be established, with each student assigned a mentor to guide their academic and career development. This ensures academic excellence and job market competitiveness. We will also continue our undergraduate internship program, offering internships and career guidance to international graduate students.
3. Internship Arrangement:
This program combines business management and financial technology to develop African talent with a global perspective. After the first year and meeting language requirements, students will join CTBC's 6-week summer internship in areas like corporate finance, international finance, and AI. Students will gain hands-on experience, work on projects, and network with industry professionals. Top performers may receive extended internships or job offers. The internship offers benefits like bonuses, health management, and professional training, helping students build a strong career foundation. Through CTBC’s resources, the program prepares students to become competitive financial professionals.
Through these strategies, we aim to develop financial professionals with an international perspective and strong professional skills, contributing to the growth of the financial industries in both Africa and Taiwan.
